Name of Character: Ariadne Londonderry
Position: Aide to the Minister of Magic
Personality: Ariadne Londonderry has long been known in the Ministry as one of the most flirty career girls to grace the locale. Her long curly blonde hair and soft hazel eyes, added to a curvacious figure and a spicy personality guaranteed her an early rise in the Ministry. Fashion is one of her top priorities, and as daft as she may seem, she has a politician's heart, and aims to stay where she is, on top of the food chain. Ariadne also nurses a secret love for poetry that nobody but her cats (Clotho, Atropos, Lachesis) know. After all, she has to put up a pretense of being a ditz. She can often be found sitting in her office, sorting through piles of documents and flipping through a few magazines. She's the kind of girl who prefers to live large and leave everything else behind. Never one for family, she's ever the social butterfly, skittering from one relationship to the other, if they can be called such, leaving behind many a steamy one night stand.
Biography: Ariadne Londonderry was born on September 23rd, 1959, ourside of Cambridge, England into a family of two older sisters and her vastly different parents. James Londonderry was one of the top Aurors in his time, but Persephone Londonderry, nee O'Malley, was a soft-natured Irish mediwitch. Their contrasting personalities caused tension and they divorced in Ariadne's sixth year. Her father died on a reconnaissance mission two years after she left Hogwarts and her mother now lives in Glasgow, wed to an Irish herbologist. Her oldest sister Renee is a writer for Witch Weekly, and her other sister Miranda emigrated to the States after she left Hogwarts. Relying on her sharp typographical skills and observant attitude, after ending seven years as a Ravenclaw in Hogwarts, Ariadne took an internship at the Ministry and four years later, is on top of the so-called food chain, having become Aide to the Minister herself.
